Hours ago, Mouratoglou took to his official Instagram handle where he talked about Novak Djokovic’s backhand. It is a lesser-talked-about skill that the Serb possesses and not many people know about it. Sharing a post on his official Instagram handle, the French coach broke down Djokovic’s backhand and what made it special.

Mouratoglou feels that Djokovic’s backhand’s ability to change direction is top-notch and gave full marks to it. Talking about it, he said, “Novak is very comfortable directing his backhand crosscourt as much as down the line, and he can decide to do it any time on any type of ball.”

Further, he also rated the accuracy of Djokovic’s backhands highly, saying, “Novak’s backhand is deadly accurate. He plays deep and very close to the sidelines.” Subsequently, Mouratoglou also analyzed other characteristics of Djokovic’s backhand such as counterpunching, movement, touch, etc. that made it special.
