When did Rick Macci coach Serena Williams?
Rick Macci, the former American tennis player was the childhood coach of Serena Williams. He did not just coach Serena Williams but also the other sister Venus Williams. The Williams sisters practiced with Rick Macci for the first time in 1991. They spent four years under him before their father Richard Williams took over the responsibility.

Apart from the Williams sisters, Rick Macci has coached many other famous players. The list includes Andy Roddick, Jennifer Capriatti and Maria Sharapova. Since his induction into the USPTA Florida Hall of Fame in 2010, he serves as a consultant on the USTA Player Development Program.
