After winning the first round at Flushing Meadows against Learner Tien, the 10th-seeded tennis player, during the post-match press conference, shared a desire to have Barack Obama and his wife Michelle in one of his U.S. Open matches.

Along with that, he also highlighted his experience of how he would feel if he ever played a tennis match in front of the 44th US president.

He said, “I mean, obviously, Michelle. It’s not going to get much better than that. Maybe it will; probably not. Maybe if her husband is sitting next to her. I don’t know. It’s pretty tough to beat that. A tennis match, I mean it’s nuts. Yeah, but, I mean, a lot of cool people have been able to come and take the time out to watch lately. Yeah, probably both. I know especially if they’re loud enough and getting really into it.”
