The American tennis legends have been busy preparing for the Pickleball Slam for the last few weeks. The power couple partnered together in the event, taking on John McEnroe and Maria Sharapova. Hours ago, another member joined Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf in pickleball. It was the former World Number One’s brother, Phillip’s, pet. The latter took to his official Instagram handle and shared a picture showing his pet dog having pickleball’s perforated plastic ball in its mouth.

Additionally, in the caption, he wrote, “Whole family is loving pickleball.” By the looks of it, it seemed that the pet dog was clearly having its fun day out.
Meanwhile, Agassi seems to be mastering the sport himself. He, along with Graf, defeated McEnroe and Sharapova in the Pickleball Slam 2 in straight sets. Agassi has also won a match by partnering with Jack Sock, defeating McEnroe and James Blake. A pro at whatever racket he picks up, Agassi once revealed why he chose this sport after retiring from tennis.

Agassi’s profound love for pickleball
Apart from playing in the Pickleball Slam, Agassi is also on the board of a company responsible for the widely used pickleball rating system. Following his tennis retirement, Agassi has become fond of pickleball.
Agassi stated the reason, “We all grew up with a racket in our hands. It became more about just how much enjoyment we got out of it and how much it has added to our lives since then. From that moment, it’s been like a thought process on what would be cool to do for Pickleball Slam, too.”
