With the final Grand Slam of the year officially in the rearview mirror, tennis fans can finally catch their breath after a whirlwind of action-packed matches. But while the on-court excitement may have wrapped up, the off-court buzz is only just beginning. And right now, all eyes are on the dynamic duo of Stefanos Tsitsipas and his Spaniard girlfriend, Paula Badosa.

Both Badosa and Tsitsipas are off from upsets at the US Open. While the WTA star managed to advance to the quarterfinals of the tournament, her beau failed to prove his mettle and was ousted in the first round itself. But they are not letting the major upsets affect their time together, as they are spending some leisure time.

The tennis power couple are enjoying some time together ahead of their next campaigns. In an Instagram story shared by Team Tsitsidosa, the couple can be seen on the clay courts of France at the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy. They were spotted along with the junior French tennis player Ksenia Efremova. The trio can be seen posing for the camera as they look visibly happy. Remember, the academy also has a special significance for the Greek star.

Tsitsipas was spotted by the French coach Patrick Mouratoglou when he was just 15. Since then, he has trained at the academy and has made it his family’s home base, per the website of the academy. Meanwhile, Badosa and Tsitsipas have often been spotted enjoying some leisure time together, be it on or off the courts. 

The couple started dating each other in June 2023. Despite a split in May this year, the two quickly reunited, citing the eternal forces that resulted in the testing times. Since then, they have been often spotted either watching each other’s matches or spending some adorable time together. In fact, Badosa recently showered her love on a post by Tsitsipas and wrote, “Cute (heart emoji)”, when he shared pictures from his pre-tournament interview ahead of the Canadian Open. Tsitsipas, on the other hand, has often highlighted how grateful he is to have the Spaniard by his side.

Paula Badosa and Stefanos Tsitsipas have often been at the center of controversy and have received immense criticism from the tennis community. Several critics believe that the performance of both players has declined drastically ever since they started dating. However, the couple has slammed such claims time and again and has heaped praise on each other.

Speaking at the European Open last year, Tsitsipas revealed, “My meeting with Paula (Badosa) gave me another vision of life in general.” He added how he used to stay overly focused on tennis 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. During that time, he admitted that he didn’t get much time to spend with his family. Continuing further, he said, “So to have Paula by my side now is great. I’m going through the best time of my life. I have the right people around me. I have no doubts with that.”

It will be interesting to see if Stefanos Tsitsipas can overcome challenges and achieve big wins this season. But one thing is certain, and it is the constant support he receives from Badosa.
