The United States Tennis Association dropped a bomb with their roaster for Paris! While the list features some of America’s top tennis names, the players feel equally thrilled to be a part of this amazing opportunity. From debutants to veterans, fans expect something unbelievable in both singles and doubles. As Coco Gauff finally prepares to fulfill her dream this year, she and her other colleagues can’t help but surprise fans with their over-enthusiastic celebration of team spirit in the Olympics.

The official Instagram page of USTA (United States Tennis Association) has shared its tennis roaster for the Paris Olympics. They shared an image of all the participants keeping the iconic Eiffel Tower of Paris in the middle. “Time to go get the 🥇. See you in Paris!”- captioned the page with their image. In the photo, fans could spot America’s reigning US Open champion Coco Gauff in her usual roaring pose, and then there is Taylor Fritz, the Delray Beach Open 2024 champion. The image also shows Danielle Collins, and Emma Navaro who will join Gauff in women’s singles. On the other hand, Taylor Fritz will share his space with Christopher Eubanks, Marcos Giron, and Tommy Paul in men’s singles.

Taylor Fritz and Tommy Paul will also attend the men’s doubles with Austin Krajick and Rajeev Ram. Danielle Collins will play doubles with Desirae Krawczyk. Gauff and Pegula will pair up again for the Olympic Team USA. While the singles and doubles list has already exited the fans, the USTA is yet to announce the roaster for mixed doubles. However, they will likely announce that at a later date.

Not only the fans but also the selected players are equally charmed by their selection in this most awaited sports event. Their comments are evidence of their tremendous happiness about getting the chance to represent their country.

Players reveal extreme delight seeing their names for the team USTA in Paris

Since the USTA’s official Instagram page shared the news, the whole internet has been stormed by fans with their comments. However, fans couldn’t contain their emotion seeing Coco Gauff expressing her delight hearing the news. “❤️🇺🇸”- A short yet sufficient expression by this reigning US Open champion that states her joy in representing her country.

Now, Coco Gauff has been dreaming about the Olympics for a long. She also tried to take part in the Tokyo Olympics in 2021. However, Covid took away her chances crashing her dreams. “I am so disappointed to share the news that I have tested positive for COVID and won’t be able to play in the Olympic Games in Tokyo, It has always been a dream of mine to represent the USA at the Olympics”- she said. Now that Gauff finally represents her country in both singles and doubles in Paris, she must have been overjoyed with the news.

Then there was Jessica Pegula, who dropped an enthusiastic comment in the thread. “LFG 🇺🇸 👏”- wrote Pegula, showing how badly she wants to win for her country with her lucky charm in doubles, Coco Gauff. This iconic pair has won five titles in doubles (US Open 2023, Canadian Open 2023, Miami Open 2023, San Diego Open 2022, and Qatar Open 2023). The duo has reached the finals of the Wimbledon 2023 tournament. Following their record and Pegula’s enthusiasm, fans are expecting something unbelievable from the USA’s participation in the Olympics tennis doubles.

Right after Pegula, fans spotted Tommy Paul’s comment, who has also represented his country in the Tokyo Olympics. “🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸”- commented Paul showing the encouragement for a true team spirit. This American ATP star who played in Tokyo seemed enthusiastic about Paris previously. “I’m super excited to play, and hopefully take home a medal for our country. That’s always been the dream,”- said Paul, clearly stating his joy.

Christopher Eubanks also fuelled Paul’s team spirit motivation with this encouraging comment. “Let’s gooooooooo!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸” – he commented. This year Eubanks is debuting in the Olympics. Paul showed great skill in reaching the quarterfinals of the Wimbledon 2023. With his selection this year, fans are expecting Team USA to take charge of other countries.

After Eubanks, another veteran has joined the roaster and he is Marcos Giron. He also played in the Tokyo Olympics stating how participating in the Olympics has “been a huge goal” for his “entire career.” Back in 2021, he further said- “It’s really special to be a part of the group of athletes who are there representing the U.S.” This year he is surely delighted to represent his country one more time.
