20-year-old Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime reached his maiden Grand Slam quarterfinal at Wimbledon Championships 2021. For this, he upset fourth seed Alexander Zverev in a nail-bitting five-setter that ended 6-4, 7-6(6), 3-6, 3-6, 6-4. Next, the young Canadian will take on Italian World No.9 Matteo Berrettini, with whom he shares a unique bond.

Since early 2019, Felix Auger-Aliassime, the young aspirant from Canada, has been dating Croatian equestrian Nina Ghaibi. Interestingly, Nina is cousins with Croatian-born Australian tennis professional Ajla Tomljanovic, who also entered the QFs in Wimbledon.
To tie the loose ends, Tomljanovic is dating Matteo Berrettini, completing their small circle.

Consequently, Felix and Matteo ended up spending time together, from which their friendship blossomed.
“Both our girlfriends are cousins, so it just happens that we spend a lot of time together. He’s one of my best friends on the [ATP] tour. He’s really a great guy,” the Canadian revealed.

Additionally, even Nina is at the All England Club and was present at the fourth-round battle between Tomljanovic and Emma Raducanu. She shared the player’s box with Berrettini, who her boyfriend will play next.
