Rick Macci had earlier highlighted the ‘complete’ game of Sebastian Korda. He even went on to add that Korda has a similarity with the 20-time Grand Slam winner, Roger Federer. The American tennis coach believes his forehand is quite similar to that of the Swiss Maestro. There are quite a few promising talents going around the men’s circuit in American tennis. But who can ultimately break the 20-year-old curse? Rick Macci has his say on this, let’s see.

He’s (Ben Shelton) a good athlete. He’s adventurous. So I love his game. Permanent picture top 10. Okay, but if you’re asking me, who I think is the best of all the Americans, I feel it’s Sebastian Korda. We said this before. I think he has the most upside, you know, Fritz‘s good, Tiafoe is good, Opelka is going to come back. Tommy Paul’s good. All these guys. If something breaks their way, can grab a slam or two, no question. You know, like a Courier like a Chang like a Roddick, because there’s a vacuum. But I think Korda you know, is the one, in my opinion, who is the most talented,” said Rick Macci.

Rick Macci has played a pivotal role in helping Serena Williams during the early stages of her career. She then went on to become one of the Greatest Of All Time in women’s tennis. But after her retirement in 2022, the question of the hour is who will carry forward the ‘Stars and Stripes’?
