‘No Man Can Beat That’ – Serena Williams’ Pregnancy Comes to the Fore as Tennis World Delivers Verdict on ‘Unscrupulous Brat’ Novak Djokovic Being the G.O.A.T

Yesterday, the Serbian tennis legend Novak Djokovic clinched his 23rd Grand Slam title at Roland Garros. And now that he has broken Rafael Nadal‘s Grand Slam record, he has joined Serena Williams in the elite club. The Serb and the WTA legend currently share the record for most major titles won in the Open Era, with 23 each. While the entire tennis world is praising the Serb, there is a small debate among Djokovic and Williams’ supporters over who is the greatest of all time.

The world’s top-ranked tennis player wrote his name in the history books by winning his 23rd Grand Slam title at the French Open. While the Serbian tennis star’s fans are all excited regarding this breakthrough, the American tennis legend, Serena Williams’ fans, on the other hand, started a debate concerning who is the best among the two stars.

After the amazing victory, Djokovic has his eye on one more Grand Slam title, that is the upcoming Wimbledon Championships. Recently, the official Instagram page of Wimbledon shared a picture of Djokovic and Williams and hailed them for their amazing records. In addition, the caption read, “The only two players with 23 Grand Slam singles titles in the Open era…” 

However, seeing that picture, tennis fans flooded the comment section with their thoughts regarding who is the best among the two tennis players. While some fans hailed the current ATP world number one, Williams fans raised a small concern regarding how the American tennis legend’s record, especially winning a title as a pregnant tennis player, is just unmatchable.

A fan recalled how the former tennis player won a title even when she was pregnant with her daughter: “But, Serena won one while pregnant. No man can beat that!”

While others heaped praise on Williams, stating that she is the best on the tennis court.

On the other hand, a fan also questioned Djokovic’s ethics as a sportsperson.

A fan wrote, “Unscrupulous brat who tries to be this great sportsperson. It’s also about ethics and class. And Novak hasn’t any. Serena on the other hand, never resorted to “miracle loo breaks during impending loss” to get back to the game. Don’t try to be what you are not.” 

Djokovic fans strongly shut down the trolls 

While everybody was fuming against the Serbian tennis star. A Djokovic fan stepped in to save the day. He wrote, “Post this picture again after Wimbledon without Serena on it. 24 is coming.”
