It is not an everyday occurrence for tennis players to be joining the subscription-based platform, OnlyFans. But here we are from the tennis world reporting pro tennis players joining the social media platform to give their fans a sneak peek into their intimate side. One of the former tennis players Ashley Harkleroad joined OnlyFans where she posted exclusive content for her fans.
And now there is news of another tennis star, the bad boy from Australia following suit. Nick Kyrgios also joined OnlyFans as wanted to entertain his fans with behind-the-scenes content, and everything about his personal life and style. Kyrgios’ announcement about the deal with OnlyFans made fans assume he was the first tennis player to join in, but it was actually Harkleroad.

Ashley Harkleroad joined the subscription-based platform, OnlyFans in 2022 which was long before Nick Kyrgios. She joined the platform to share adult content with her fans for a fee of £8 a month. In fact, when she announced her account, she also wrote, “I’m the first Professional tennis player ever to be on the cover of Playboy and now on OnlyFans!”
In fact, her Onlyfans description includes: “Here to enjoy free expression… I’m back and better than ever.” Along with that, she also posted quite a lot of photos of herself in bikini for her fans that got a lot of compliments from them.
On the other hand, Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios announced recently how joining OnlyFans was a no-brainer for him. Kyrgios added, “They are revolutionizing social media and I wanted to be a part of that. Athletes can no longer just show up on the court or the field, we have to show up online too.”

However, even though his joining the platform has taken quite a ride for the internet, he is not the first tennis player to have joined this platform. To everyone’s surprise, it is the ex-pro tennis player Ashley Harkleroad.

So, Nick Kyrgios is not the first player to join the platform. However, he sure is the first ever male tennis player to do so. Given that Kyrgios was sidelined from the sport, OnlyFans can truly bring him a certain amount of attention from fans. This is also important for him because apparently, Kyrgios did not make it to the 2024 Australian Open list too.

For Kyrgios, the entertainment side of things seems to be working out fine. But on the tennis end, he doesn’t seem to have much luck recently. Kyrgios played only one match during the whole 2023 season due to which he is currently unranked. And this is primarily the reason why he is absent from the 2023 Australian Open list.

Even though he is conspicuously absent from the list, there is still speculation that he might get a wildcard entry to the event given that he is a local favorite. In case he manages to get a wildcard invite to the tournament, he will also be able to safeguard his 12 Protected Ranking spots for the season.
