The American teenage sensation Gauff has continued performing her best on the court in both singles and doubles. And she is not taking a back seat in celebrating the achievement of his fellow compatriots joining the league.
Gauff became a complete fangirl of the NCAA champion turned pro player, Ben Shelton, as she rushed after her doubles match just to see Shelton enjoy his victory. She shared through her Instagram story the video of the moment of Shelton’s last point. She stated, “Quite literally ran through the plaza to find a tv to watch the end LFG @benshelton lol @santalbano14 is pumped.”
Moreover, you can hear the excitement in her voice as she excitedly says, “yes yes, oh my god, look at Ali.” Additionally, she also stated, “leaving the sound up just for my weird commentary.”
Besides celebrating Shelton’s achievement, Gauff herself has performed astoundingly well. She has secured herself a place in the fourth round in the singles category and the third round in the doubles, alongside Jessica Pegula.

Gauff wishes to have an iconic rivalry with Emma Raducanu similar to the ‘Fedal’ one
Emma Raducanu entered the new year with high hopes. However, Gauff had other plans for her as she took her down in the second round of the Australian Open.
However, she sees potential for a great rivalry against Raducanu. She mentioned in a BBC column that she would like to have what Rafael Nadal had with Roger Federer. Furthermore, she also talked about the emotional moment when the two touched hands during Federer’s farewell.
