The 33-year-old Serb, who will launch his title defense at the Australian Open this year, was spotted out and about in a park, filling his lungs with fresh morning air and stretching limbs in the outdoors after 14 days of confinement.

He was soon joined by a media crew and was happy to pose for pictures.

Serena, who will resume her quest for a record 24th Grand Slam title at the Australian Open this year, marked the end of quarantine with a day-out with daughter Alexis Olympia.

2018 Australian Open finalist Simona Halep also took a tour of Adelaide

Current World Number 2 and the losing finalist at the 2018 Australian Open, Simona Halep, was also snapped getting into a car for a tour of the idyllic South Australian city.

Those quarantining in Adelaide were subjected to the same quarantine rules as the ones isolating in Melbourne, the host city for the Australian Open.

The rules required the stars to confine themselves to their hotel rooms, with the exception of 5 hours of practice every day. They weren’t allowed to step outdoors during the two weeks of quarantine.

Djokovic will be eyeing an unprecedented ninth title at Melbourne Park this year, which will tie him with the legendary Martina Navratilova for the most number of Grand Slam titles in a single event.

Navratilova won 9 of her 18 Grand Slam titles at Wimbledon.
