Miami Open had an exciting flurry of matches lined up today. But turning fan eagerness into disappointment, heavy precipitation chances covered the city, causing a huge delay in the matches scheduled at Hard Rock Stadium. Are you one of those who made reservations for the day? While it appears that the delay can extend to a longer period, here’s everything you need to know in case you’re considering claiming a refund on your tickets.

If you are one of those who made a reservation at the Hard Rock Stadium and are disappointed due to the rain delay, you might be wondering about opting for a refund or exchange of your ticket value. While there’s a pre-determined rain policy for the event, refunds are not always possible.

According to the regulations mentioned on the official website, if the Evening Session starts after 9:45 p.m. due to the Day Session running long or other unexpected circumstances, the Evening Session won’t be considered canceled. In such cases, the Miami Open possesses the right to adjust scheduled matches, including their number, location, and order of play.

However, if the face value of your tickets for the canceled session stands to be more than the face value of the exchanged tickets, no refunds or credits will be provided. Along with that, the Miami Open cannot guarantee ticket availability for exchanges, nor can they ensure that exchanged tickets will be of equal value or have comparable seat locations. All ticket exchanges are final, with no refunds or credits issued.
