Jannik Sinner and Anna Kalinskaya. When they’re not acing their opponents, they are acing the art of romance! Sinner did not have a great time at Wimbledon this season. While a virus debilitated his game against Daniil Medvedev, the World No. 1 faced a disheartening elimination in the quarterfinals. On the other hand, his girlfriend, Kalinskaya, also shared a similar fate in the Round of 16 match against Elena Rybakina. An injured wrist pulled her down even before the second set of the game began and compelled her to retire. But it seems, both have bid adios to any hard feelings.
Therefore, before stepping into the Games (which begins on July 26), Sinner is stealing some time away with his girlfriend. Their recent joint appearance at Olbia Costa Smeralda airport and the cover story featuring their vacation photos in “Chi” magazine underscore the same.
Paparazed with the Russian player for the first time, the adorable pictures included both the couple laughing and enjoying their time on a Sardinian beach. Coming out of the waters, hand in hand, or hugging inside the waters, the couple, with their swimsuits on, are taking the tennis world by storm with their sun-kissed moments.

Besides, a few more pictures of their trip have also surfaced on social media, one of which captures them having a fun conversation with each other and the other shows them taking a stroll together.

Earlier this spring, the Italian No. 1 player confessed his love for Anna in an interview at the French Open. “Yes I am with Anna, but we keep everything very confidential.” The 22-year-old player did not say more about it, but the tennis world got the hint and has been closely observing their relationship since then.
Sinner, on the other hand, could not miss any opportunity to support his girlfriend during the tournaments. While Kalinskaya lost her final match in Berlin; Sinner, won the Halle Open. However, his heart ached for his girlfriend’s loss. “My girlfriend Anna played in Berlin today. She lost, with six match points,” he said after the match, further adding how he is feeling sorry for her.

On the other hand, Kalinskaya, who hopes “to be a little bit as good as him(Sinner),” is always there to support him during matches. Her presence at Wimbledon stands during Sinner’s match is a recent example of that. However, it is not always sunny in their paradise, as “distance” often plays as an enemy. And Sinner has his ways of looking past that as well.
Sinner’s optimistic approach towards his love life with Kalinskya
The tennis world has never been short of love stories. Be it Roger Federer and Mirka Federer or Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi, tennis fans have witnessed many of these unforgettable memories from different generations. Are Jannik and Kalinskaya walking in the same direction? While talking about their challenges in a relationship, the Australian Open champion alluded to something like that.

“Of course, it’s not easy, I travel a lot and during tournaments, I’m very focused. But I think it’s a beautiful thing when you find the right love. Like for everyone. And then, if you think about it, the best tennis players in the world all have wives and children.”
Although Sinner is optimistic, he previously admitted, “I don’t like to talk much about my private life,” we understand his words when he does. This latest getaway showcases the enduring nature of their bond, proving that distance can’t diminish their connection.
