As much as Stefanos Tsitsipas might be looking forward to the ATP Finals, his journey in the tournament was not so pleasant. Just after playing three games, he had to retire because of a severe back injury. The injury not only pushed him out of the tournament but also made him bedridden for a long time. It is only now that he is recovering well. But one thing that kept him afloat was the company of his girlfriend, Paula Badosa.

The Spanish WTA star made sure to keep his spirits up while he was going through a tough phase of his career. Throughout their time together, both Badosa and Tsitsipas have been supportive during their on-court struggles. This time was no different.

17 minutes into the match with Holger Rune, the 2019 ATP Finals champion had to bow out as he suffered from a back injury. After consulting with his trainer, he shook Rune’s hand, accepted defeat, and exited the ATP Finals.

Since then, he has been stuck in Turin to recover from the same. However, his girlfriend, Paula Badosa, has been there with him constantly to support him while he gets better. Recently, the couple posted a video from their official Instagram page on how Paula Badosa is entertaining him with some dance moves while he was in bed.

Along with the video of Badosa dancing, he also wrote, “Turn. Blocked back. Can’t move from bed. Paulita keeping me entertained and amused.” This is certainly not the first time they had been supportive of each other. In fact, when Badosa had bowed out of the US Open due to an injury, Tsitsipas was there for her.

Recently, Badosa also announced that she would be making her comeback to the tour in the Billie Jean King Cup, and Stefanos Tsitsipas was the first one to support her.
