American sports commentator Steve Weissman recently shared that poster tagging Danielle Collins on his Instagram stories. Collins later on reshared that post on her own stories captioning, “AHAHAHA @STEVEWEISSMAN I’M DEAD.” She also attached a few ‘laughing’ emojis along with the caption. This documentary is an intimate insight into Roger Federer’s final 12 days in his career. So, just like everyone is excited to see Collins in action, this documentary has brought a different level of excitement among tennis fans.

Well, talking more about the excitement levels in the air of the tennis world, currently, fans are thrilled to see ‘Danimal’ in action this season. Danielle Collins has won four singles titles so far in her career. Out of those four two titles came this season and she’s currently looking for her third. Even her first WTA 1000 title came this year itself. So, unlike many other players, she seems to currently blooming at the later stages of her career.

At this point, she feels like she’s ready for the next chapter of her life. Even her excitement levels are also high surrounding this. She said, “I needed to have an end date. And it gives my family and friends the ability to come support me in some final tournaments. Roger Federer had a pretty ordinary season in 2021, his last on the ATP Tour. But for Collins, it’s completely different. After her recent victory in the QF she said, “I’m going out with a bang.” She further went on to add, “I want to go out playing my best tennis because I certainly wouldn’t want to go out playing my worst tennis. That does happen sometimes, unfortunately. It’s important for me to feel like I got everything I could out of myself as an athlete.

Danielle Collins is enjoying every single bit of these moments. She says it’s super rewarding because one has to go through periods where he/she might have to take three steps forward and four steps back some weeks. Collins could relate this quite similar to stock market. Sometimes it goes up and sometimes down. But she’s happy to be on winning tracks at the later phases of her career.
