Zendaya shared how the film had played a surprising role in maintaining their calm and composure amidst their intense work on set.

Zendaya reveals how their schedule was on the sets of Challengers

While she shared her opinion on how the movie helped her, she also revealed what their schedule was while being on the sets. In a conversation with Total Film magazine, Zendaya shared the summer camp-like experience during the filming of the upcoming movie.

The actors’ routine resembled a cross between an acting and tennis camp. They had early starts, group stretches, PE games, workouts, and tennis sessions. Meals included eggs, chicken, and broccoli. Zendaya reflected on the enjoyable process, “You get paid to do what you would want to do anyway.” Co-star O’Connor also added humorously about the diet.

Zendaya continually emphasized the dreamlike aspect of being paid for activities they love. Faist agreed, remarking on actors’ constant skill acquisition and the anticipation of diverse experiences with each project. The trio bonded while training and working together, making the summer truly memorable. The interview captures the camaraderie, learning, and enjoyment that characterized their time on set.
