Some people make an impact so deep, that their names get embossed in people’s mind for good. And they continue to idolize them – no matter what. Legends, Rafael Nadal and Serena Williams might have retired but it hardly impacts people’s intense love for them. Skeptical? Hear out tennis influencer Rachel Stuhlmann, who poured her heart out, showing how these two iconic personalities are deeply associated with her life and upbringing, leaving a legacy that is hard for anyone to erase.
Stuhlmann opened up about her admiration towards both Rafael Nadal and Serena Williams. The tennis influencer and content creator used to be a tennis player. She played for the University of Missouri Tigers and Kirkwood High School. Stuhlmann was awarded the recognition of St. Louis Post-Dispatch Metro Player of the Year when she was studying in high school. Additionally, the content creator reached a career-high NCAA rank of 77 and is a USPTA-certified professional tennis coach. However, she found her passion in being an influencer and quit playing to enlighten her followers about tennis-related aspects such as ATP’s minimum wage policy for low-ranked players, covering updates of tournaments, etc.
Stuhlmann might not play professional tennis but the sport remains an important part of her professional life. In a recent episode of the Tennis Channel Inside-In podcast, she discussed many things about her tennis journey, her presence as a tennis social correspondent, her experience of covering The Garden Cup in New York, and more.

However, what caught the attention of tennis fans was her admiration for the Spaniard and the American legend. “Yeah I mean Rafael Nadal, I had a poster of him when I was super young and used to love him, ah I still do. I think he is kind of the epiphany of the best athlete and as far as humility and you know he is playing one hundred percent at every point,” she said. Her words highlighted how deeply she loved Nadal and grew up seeking inspiration from the Mallorcan legend. Stuhlmann also talked about the legendary Serena Williams. Reflecting on her fangirling attitude towards Williams, she said, “Always loved Serena since I was young. Loved her style obviously, loved her game.”Throughout Stuhlmann’s conversation, she expressed only love for these two revealing how intensely she followed Nadal and Williams’ playstyles since childhood.
However, this wasn’t Stuhlmann’s first revelation about her love for Williams. Along with the former WTA number one’s playstyle, this influencer highlighted how much she loved Williams’ efforts to blend fashion with her athleticism.
