Frances Tiafoe’s long-time girlfriend Ayan Broomfield is making waves in the tennis world. A former Division 1 college tennis champion, Broomfield is more known for her strong social media game and as a content creator with growing popularity. Owing to this, she has been able to collaborate with renowned brands, not only for herself but with a humanitarian aim too.
Having traveled with Tiafoe to tennis events and tournaments, Broomfield is now talking about her philanthropic ambitions and how her father was the major factor behind it.

In an exclusive with Vogue published yesterday, Broomfield opens up about her latest charitable venture and how her father was the driving force behind it, “I didn’t come from a lot of money, and growing up, my Dad was always super, super adamant about giving back when you could, with the resources you could. So with the Foundation, I wanted to try and merge the travel, merge the content creation side of things, and merge philanthropy all together.”
Giving context about what catapulted her into this journey, she says, “I started traveling full-time with Frances about a year and a half ago. I felt it pretty quickly–we were going from city to city, and receiving so much from the sport. I was gaining all these experiences, but hadn’t given anything back.”
Divulging more details about how it works, Broomfield describes how she finds a local charity to partner with at each tournament she goes to, using her brand deals for donations. “For example, at the Miami Open (occurring from March 17 to March 31), I partnered with Lotus House, which is a local Miami women’s shelter.”
Leading up to her latest philanthropic venture, the tennis star has landed brand deals with giants such as Wilson and Athleta. But more interestingly, she has a very cool acting cred under her name.
Credits are rolling for Ayan Broomfield
Broomfield’s remarkable tennis prowess has opened doors to exciting experiences beyond the court. She was chosen as a body double for Saniyya Sidney, the actress portraying Venus Williams in ‘King Richard.’ On set, she had the chance to meet Will Smith, cast as her character’s father, along with Serena Williams.
