After a promising association between British tennis player Emma Raducanu and coach Dmitry Tursunov, their partnership, unfortunately, ended earlier this month. The Russian has now joined hands with Roger Federer?s compatriot, Belinda Bencic.

Earlier, the World No. 14 Belinda Bencic avenged her Roland Garros defeat to Leylah Fernandez in the first round of the Guadalajara Open AKRON. The Canadian went down fighting against the Swiss player in three sets, 5-7 7-6(10) 3-6. With this win, Bencic kept her WTA Finals hopes alive.
Coach Dmitry Tursunov ditches Emma Raducanu and teams up with Belinda Bencic
Raducanu, the former US Open champion, has ended her partnership with Dmitry Tursunov, which began roughly three months ago at the start of the hard court season. The renowned Russian coach has now teamed up with Belinda Bencic. Since her tie-up with Tursunov, which started after Wimbledon, Raducanu won eight of her fifteen matches, which ended in her most recent semifinal appearance in Seoul last month.

The 19-year-old reportedly wanted to keep working with the coach, but Tursunov decided to end the partnership. With the departure of her coach, Raducanu will now be training with physical trainer Jez Green, who was instrumental in Andy Murray’s growth as an athlete.
The British No. 1 is currently nursing a wrist injury, but she is determined to play for Great Britain in the upcoming Billie Jean King Cup. The tournament is scheduled to be held in Glasgow this November.?

Raducanu and her history of frequent coaching changes
Raducanu has been criticized in the past for making frequent coaching changes. She first teamed up with Nigel Sears before collaborating with Andrew Richardson to win her first-ever maiden Grand Slam championship. However, she immediately stepped away from the coach following the event.
