Notably, this was the second instance within two weeks when Serena and the Swiss Maestro attended the same event. For the unversed, Federer and the younger Williams sister also showed up at the memorable Met Gala 2023. Not to forget that the 23-time grand slam champ attended both of these events while pregnant. And in Federer’s own words, meeting the Williams sisters was nothing but “a nice surprise.”

The 2023 Miami Grand Prix turned out to be a special occasion. After all, it was the second edition of the Formula One event in Miami. It was made even more special by the presence of some of the tennis’ top achievers. Roger Federer, the Swiss maestro who won 20 singles Grand Slam titles, attended the event with his wife Mirka.
The Williams sisters also made it to the event, and it didn’t take long for the trio to meet. Once they did, the cameras surrounded them, and the three of them were all smiles. In his Instagram story post, Federer shared the photo with his Instagram followers and captioned it, “A nice surprise”.
Just a few days back, Federer had come together with Serena Williams for a photograph at the 2023 Met Gala in New York. It was a night to remember for the Swiss icon, as he was chosen as one of the event’s high-profile co-chairs. The event was special for Serena as well, who announced her pregnancy moments before hitting the red carpet with her husband Alexis Ohanian.

During the 2000s and 2010s, Roger Federer and the Williams sisters were among tennis’ most dominant forces. Federer clinched 20 single Grand Slam titles during these two decades, while Venus and Serena won 7 and 23, respectively. The Williams sisters were also a formidable duo in doubles tennis.
