Amid high and low moments in life, kindness has the power to help see through all. In recognization of its importance, American tennis pro Madison Keys started an initiative called KindnessWins, a day dedicated to sharing acts and words of kindness. On its third anniversary on May 21, many tennis professionals praised Madison and helped spread the good word.

It all started with Madison, who wished everyone a Happy KindnessWinsDay on Twitter with an inspiring message. “I want to help show the world the power of kindness and the difference we can make when we take action,” the American wrote.

Soon, an array of tennis stars lined up behind her to support the initiative. The list will most likely keep growing through the day.

Simona Halep, Maria Sharapova, and others praise Madison Keys on the KindnessWinsDay initiative.

Both men and women tennis professionals came together and acknowledged the significance of kindness. Retired Russian and five-time Grand Slam champion Maria Sharapova called the day “a genuine reminder of what truly matters” and congratulated them on their third anniversary.

Two-time Grand Slam champion and current World No.3 Simona Halep described it as the need of the hour. She also praised the American World No.24 for her generosity.

Former singles and doubles World No.1 Kim Clijsters, a mother of four, also tweeted. “The power of Kindness is something I try to teach my kids every day,” the Belgian said.

Following them, the former World No.1 Garbine Muguruza shared how kindness can help achieve more. Naturally, she thanked Keys for taking the initiative.

Compatriot and 2017 US Open champion Sloane Stephens tweeted, “You set the best example for this Madi!”

Two-time Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova also joined the mission. She wrote, “Always happy to support you on this mission to be kind in sport and life!”

Furthermore, the 2020 US Open champion Bianca Andreescu urged her fans to “Help spread the word.”

And, the former British professional Laura Robson felt delighted to help both the cause and the American tennis player.

Moreover, tournaments such as Billie Jean King Cup, Volvo Car Open, Special Olympics, and Shenzhen Open also showed support to the KindnessWins foundation.

Daniil Medvedev, Kei Nishikori, and Marin Cilic applauded Madison and her KindnessWinsDay initiative.

ATP World No.2 and Australian Open 2021 finalist Daniil Medvedev congratulated Madison on her KindnessWinsDay initiative. Also, former World No.4 Kei Nishikori appreciated the cause.

Lastly, the 2014 US Open champion Marin Cilic used this opportunity to appreciate his fellow athletes who always showed him kindness.
