Serena Williams’ ex-coach makes a bold prediction for Carlos Alcaraz’s 2025 season
Previously, Rick Macci said, “Carlos Alcaraz will go to another level in 2024 and be a Grand Slam winner and the main reason is a guy named Sinner.” After that, we saw Jannik Sinner starting the year by winning the AO and ending it by claiming the ATP Finals title on home soil in Turin. Sinner won 8 titles this season and two out of them were major titles. Carlos Alcaraz on the other hand, had a terrific summer which included winning the French Open and Wimbledon back-to-back. He even won the silver medal at the Paris Olympics. In total, he won 4 titles this season.
At just the age of 21, Carlos Alcaraz became the youngest male player to complete a ‘Career Surface Slam,’ winning Grand Slam titles on clay, grass, and hard court. Rick Macci has time and again spoken about the rapid rise of the Spaniard. In fact, he once even hailed him as, “The single most appetizing LIGHTNING BOLT to the tennis menu since the Compton Comets Venus and SERENA.” Now speaking about what can we expect from Carlos Alcaraz in 2025, he added, “Fasten Seat Belt in 2025 with young Carlos Alcaraz! Fasten seat belt in 2025 as the young Carlos Alcaraz now has tasted the ups downs highs lows peaks and Valleys and the magician will win 2 or 3 Slams and produce many epic jaw-dropping breathtaking Rallies.“

What are Alcaraz’s goals for the 2025 season? Well while answering this question, the Spaniard said that his primary goal for the 2025 season would be to stay fresh in the later stages of the campaign. As per reports. Carlos Alcaraz may skip the warm-up events and could start his season directly at the 2025 AO, just like what he did this year.
Surely, it’s not going to be easy for him to beat the likes of Jannik Sinner, Alexander Zverev, and Novak Djokovic and win a few more big titles in the next season.
