Brandi has spent almost 17 seasons as a coach at the University of Florida. He was best known for coaching the Florida Gators tennis team to three national championships during the 1990s. Andy Brandi also worked as the executive director of IMG Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Bradenton, Florida. Recently, he served as the head coach of the LSU Men’s Tennis team (2017-2022).

Brad Gilbert tweeted, “RIP Coach! What a legendary coach Andy, so passionate about our sport of tennis. Absolutely, amazing with kids development.” While the 28YO American tennis player, Jennifer Brady posted a story on her Instagram account where she wrote, “RIP Andy Brandi. The tennis world lost one incredible human being. Grateful to have crossed paths with you during my tennis career. You will be missed, Andy.”

The former American tennis player, Jimmy Arias came to the Tennis Channel Live show and said, “He was when I was just a wee lad. He was running things and uh, classy guy, great coach, great person. And, you know he went on from the academy life to college tennis and affected young people’s lives for his whole life.
