After Rosalynn Carter’s demise, King stepped forward remembering this graceful personality.

King previously tweeted remembering Rosalynn Carter’s philanthropic journey after the 96-year-old activist, breathed her last in Plains, Georgia this Sunday. Now King again tweeted sharing her heartfelt gratitude and respect for the family as they joined in Atlanta for Carter’s memorial service. Billie Jean King wrote- “Her philanthropy will live on. Thinking of the entire Carter family, as they attend Rosalynn’s memorial service in Atlanta today.” 

However, it is not just King who believed in Rosalynn Carter’s contribution to mental health, even tennis legend Boris Becker joined King in remembering the philanthropist, as he added to King’s tweet by putting in a powerful word, “Word”.

King previously tweeted sharing her condolences for the family when the news was out in the media. She wrote- “Rosalynn Carter was an advocate for mental health and a champion for equality and human rights. Thinking of President Jimmy Carter and their entire family as they mourn her loss. May she rest in peace.

Rosalynn Carter’s husband Jimmy Carter received much popularity because of his knack for social advocacies just like his wife. he also returned to social work actively after retiring from the White House.
