Just a few weeks ago, we saw Aryna Sabalenka and Jannik Sinner placing their trophies down during the 2025 AO draw ceremony as they prepared to begin their title defenses, and guess what? Fast forward from that moment, Sinner is now just two steps away from defending his crown, while Sabalenka has already secured her spot in the final. Both of them clinched the AO and the US Open titles last season, are we going to see a reputation of the same in this year as well? Time will tell! What is the secret to their incredible success, though?

Shortly after finishing his third-round match against Marcos Giron, Jannik Sinner was asked about his matchday routine. Is there any secret recipe for his incredible consistency? Well, in reply to that, Sinner said, “Usually I’m quite relaxed until 20 minutes before the match, so I try to sleep in as long as possible, which I have no doubts I can do that every day.” How long does he sleep, though? “I slept around 10 hours this night, which is good,” said the Italian.

Does Aryna Sabalenka have any similar matchday routine? Well, during the recent post-match on-court interview, Jelena Dokic was heard saying to her, “Talking about recovery you said a small thing. You have protein bar and a coffee ninety minutes before your matches. Jannik Sinner, men’s world number one said that it’s all about getting 10 hours of sleep.” Dokic then went on to highlight that Sinner said that he watched Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz’s QF match till 1:00 in the morning and still managed to sneak in 10 hours of sleep.
