The Serbian player recently went ahead and won his eighth ITF World Champion title, breaking Steffi Graf’s record. This means he’s now officially the most successful player in this award’s history.

In a career driven by endless determination, he can consistently excel at the highest level of the sport. Not only this, it has also helped him rewrite the narrative of the tennis world. He’s always been super good, but now he’s made history by winning this award more times than anyone else. This win proves he’s one of the all-time best tennis players.

Steffi Graf last won the ITF World Champion title in 1996

Andre Agassi‘s wife and a legendary figure in tennis, Graf was a pure force to be dealt with in tennis. Over the years as a professional tennis player, she was able to bag 7 titles out of which 4 came in a row. She won her first title back in 1987 and then went ahead to win 3 in a row in 1988, 1989, and 1990 respectively.

After bagging 4 in a row, she did not seem to stop and claimed another title glory back in 1993. And then, two consecutive ITF World Champion title wins in 1995 and 1996 meant that she etched her name in the history books with 7 titles to her name.
