Is there anything Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf can’t do? Be it tennis or pickleball, Agassi and Graf’s legacy as athletes remains untouchable. Having already won a trophy in the sister sport of tennis, the dynamic duo is gearing up to defend their title at Pickleball Slam 3. With a confident message for their rivals ahead of the event, they’ve made it clear that facing them on the court will always be a formidable challenge.
The power couple of Graf and Agassi, after their retirement from tennis, has shifted their focus to Pickleball and they are nailing it. They overpowered John McEnroe and Maria Sharapova in the Slam’s second edition and are now looking to defend their title against Andy Roddick and Eugenie Bouchard. The match will take place at the Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino on 16th February. Before the special day arrived, Graf and Agassi warned their opponents. The Pickleball Slam’s official IG profile shared a video, where the former pros could be seen promoting the Slam’s third edition.
“We got a message for you Andy and Genie, February 16th the Winter is coming!” said the power couple, hinting that their clash with Roddick and Bouchard will be a nerve-wracking one for their audience. Interstingly, Agassi’s way of promoting the event was also interesting. Reflecting on the fact that he won the trophy in the first two Slams, the former ATP number one advertised the event by sharing it on his IG story with a trophy emoji. Needless to say, his gesture showcased his desire to go for three in a row.

Revealing his excitement about the event, Agassi, in a playful tone, remarked how “bad” he felt for his opponents. The American veteran is definitely drawing confidence from his remarkable partnership with his wife. “I can’t wait to return with Steffi and defend our title in February at Slam 3. It’s an incredible opportunity to play in my hometown of Las Vegas, where the stakes are high, and the energy is electric. In this city, the odds are always in our favor, and I almost feel a little sorry for Andy and Genie,” he said.
Although the couple is determined to take another trophy home, Agassi knows that partnering wife on the court can go either way.

Andre Agassi revealed how playing pickleball with wife is a double-edged sword
Last year, Andre Agassi attended the Pat McAfee Show and revealed something interesting about his pickleball partnership with Graf. With Graf and Agassi, both being very competitive, it was kind of intriguing for fans to know how their partnership for pickleball would work out and Agassi dropped the perfect response. “I’ve been playing a lot. And I’ve been playing with him on my mind, but I’ve been playing with my wife too. Which, by the way, can add a great deal to a relationship or ruin it! So you gotta be careful with that.”
Agassi’s words highlighted the competitiveness and determination of the duo to win their matches even in their 50s, which is truly inspirational. After Agassi’s statement, the couple successfully defeated McEnroe and Sharapova in Pickleball Slam 2 to take the trophy home, proving their brilliance.
