Tennis legend Roger Federer has done a lot for the sport over the years. This should mean that he has earned some credit for not being speculated under the hard light for everything he does. However, that is definitely not the case at all. After the recent turn of events at the concert of Andrea Bocelli in Zurich. The emotional side of Federer was fleshed out and some people were not very kind to it.

However, another tennis legend Chris Evert took control of the situation as she defended the Swiss Maestro. Evert gave a befitting reply to a troller while validating the emotions of Roger Federer in her own way.

Bocelli’s soul-stirring performance leads Federer to find himself caught in a wave of emotions. He even shed tears that exposed his vulnerable side. A ripple of criticism surged through social media. Some fans, seemingly oblivious to the depth of the moment, mocked Federer for what they perceived as excessive crying. It was disheartening to the genuine emotional connection Federer had experienced.

Pavvy G, a vocal supporter of Novak Djokovic took to Twitter to add fuel to the mockery. His tweet, dripping with sarcasm, read: “Three certainties in life; Death, Taxes and Roger Federer tears. 😂” However, this wasn’t an isolated incident. Pavvy G habitually targets various tennis stars, often drawing comparisons to Djokovic. However, Evert swiftly stepped into the spotlight. She responded to commentator Stephanie Myles’ heartfelt tweet.

Myles had expressed the sheer beauty of Bocelli’s aria and lamented those mocking Federer. In a tweet resonating with understanding, Evert declared: “Agree, those mocking tears have a real problem… Roger is authentic with his emotions…👍❤️”
