Power couples have always been common in professional tennis. Stars across the ATP and WTA Tours have often been involved romantically. Roger Federer met his wife Mirka on the court during the 2000 Olympics. Italy’s Matteo Berrettini and Ajla Tomljanovic are another cross-tour couple. Additionally, Elina Svitolina married her long-time boyfriend and French tennis player, Gael Monfils, in 2021. Another young couple carrying on the tradition is Australia’s Alex De Minaur and UK’s Katie Boulter.
