The Indian Wells Masters has concluded and the winners have attained certifiable glory. Carlos Alcaraz and Elena Rybakina take home the prize money and 1000 points. Alcaraz has reattained rank 1 in the ATP. However, they get a very short break as another 1000 points are on offer in Miami. The Miami Open is just around the corner for players who are ready to continue playing on hard outdoor courts. If Alcaraz and Rybakina manage to win Miami Open as well, they will achieve the ‘Sunshine Doubles’. This achievement was previously attained by Roger Federer in 2017 and Iga Swiatek in 2022.

The qualifiers for the WTA and the ATP version have begun and one can already see the exciting matchups. The WTA qualifiers began on Sunday, 19th March, and the ATP qualifiers began today, 20th March. Women’s qualifiers conclude today, while the men’s qualifiers will end on 21st March.

Following a similar pattern, the main round of the women’s singles begins on 21st March and men’s singles a day later on 22nd March. The first round for WTA will end on the 22nd, and the 23rd will start off round 2. 24th of March will see the end of round 2 and the 25th will see the winners of the first day of round 2 facing off each other.

Similarly, round 3 ends on 26th March. 27th and 28th will have round 4 with the quarterfinals taking place on the 28th and 29th of March. The semifinal for women will happen on 30th March and the two finalists will get a break of two days before a showdown on 2nd March.

The first round for men will go on till 23rd March and round two will commence on 24th March with a one-day break for those who played on the 22nd. Similarly, round two will also last for two days and end on 25th March with a break of a day for those who played first.

The third round will commence on the 26th and go on till the 27th. Similarly, the quarterfinals begin on 28th and end on 29th of March. 31st March will be the date for the men’s semifinal, with the final taking place on 2nd April.
