Released in 2017, the finest production of Epic Games continues to thrive in its sixth year of existence.

Although Fortnite is famous for its crossovers, collaboration with Wimbledon does come as a surprise for some fans. Wimbledon continues to expand its digital presence and the partnership with Fortnite just sounds about right.

What to expect in the Wimbledon-Fortnite crossover?

The All England Tennis Club launched Race to Wimbledon and tied hands with Fortnite in its next big step to appease the digital world. The courts of SW19 on Fortnite look as real as possible courtesy of the animations. Aside from Wimbledon and the tennis courts, the game has incorporated famous London landmarks including London Eye and Big Ben.

With changes in the way people consume content and interact with sports events, it is important that we find new ways to reach them and convey what makes Wimbledon so special. We believe this range of initiatives, including Race to Wimbledon, will help us achieve this ambition.?

However, as surprised as one might be, this isn’t the first Tennis collaboration from Fortnite. They signed a deal with Naomi Osaka back in 2022.

Naomi Osaka features in Fortnite

The four-time Grand Slam champion has been a Fortnite character for over a year now. The gamers can purchase her character skins in the game itself. Osaka has expressed her love for gaming in the past and Epic Games allowed her to tell her story.

On top of that, Fortnite recently completed a crossover with Nike sneakers. Serena Williams‘ husband Alexis Ohanian showed keen interest in the deal. So, it’s safe to say that Fortnite is building multiple connections with the tennis fraternity at the moment.
