It’s time for some grand action on clay again! The Summer Olympics are back in the picture, and the excitement is electric. Athletes from around the world are gearing up for the biggest sporting spectacle, and the buzz is palpable. Among them, Wimbledon Champion Carlos Alcaraz is particularly thrilled. For Alcaraz, it’s not just about the high stakes of the tournament but also the unique, vibrant experience that the Paris Olympics promises.

Carlos Alcaraz will be playing the first Olympic games of his career. For a first-timer, the most important aspect of the tournament is to explore as much as possible, and the Spaniard is doing just that. The 21-year-old has expressed his desire to stay at the Olympic Village, over the comfort of luxurious hotels.

Well I have huge expectation to the Olympics Games, not to the result side but to enjoy the experience, being in the village with all the Spanish athletes its going to be a really beautiful moment for me. I will try to enjoy as much as I can.” Alcaraz said in a recent interaction with the Tennis Channel.

For the unversed, an Olympic Village is a residential area assigned for the Olympic games where athletes from all across the globe stay. Alcaraz will be in the Olympic Village with the rest of the tennis players from Spain including, Rafael Nadal, Pedro Martínez, Jaume Munar, Pablo Carreño, Marcel Granollers, Sara Sorribes, and Cristina Bucsa.

The rest of his team, including his agent Albert Molina, will stay at the Molitor Hotel, next to the Roland Garros facilities in Paris. The four-time Grand Slam champion, meanwhile, is excited to explore the village. The Spanish star will be playing both singles and doubles at the venue. He will pair up with the tennis great Rafael Nadal to form one of the best doubles teams in tennis history. But amidst the tide of excitement, there is a huge concern for Alcaraz.

After winning the Wimbledon title on July 14, Alcaraz is soon set to reach Paris to eye an Olympic medal. But the 21-year-old is facing challenges. As per MARCA newspaper, Juan Carlos Ferrero will not travel with his Spanish mentee for the Games. He will only make it to Paris as a guest if Alcaraz advances to the major stages of the tournament.

In the absence of the Valencian coach, Alcaraz will be assisted by his coach Albert Molina who will travel with the star player. Alcaraz is also expected to be guided by David Ferrer, the captain of the Spanish National Team, Samuel López, the coach of Pablo Carreno, and a coach at the Ferrero Tennis Academy.

As Ferrero remains absent, it will be interesting to see if Alcaraz can achieve big again at Roland Garros, similar to what he did in June this year at the French Open.
