When someone is entering into the most crucial match of their career, they’ll need all the support they can get. And it looks like Novak Djokovic hasn’t been left far behind the queue in that regard. The Serbian superstar is currently in action at the Paris Olympics where he squares off against Carlos Alcaraz for an elusive gold medal. Subsequently, Nole has garnered public support from his daughter!

The 2024 edition of the Olympics marks the fifth appearance of Djokovic in Paris on Sunday, August 4. He has brushed off challenges coming from the likes of Rafael Nadal, Stefanos Tsitsipas, and Lorenzo Musetti on his way to the event’s summit clash. However, the Serb is yet to face his biggest threat. Alcaraz, who has proven to be Nole’s kryptonite, will look to end his dream run at the quadrennial event. To ensure that he keeps up with his fighting spirit against the World No. 3, Djokovic’s daughter, Tara, has come up with a wholesome message for him.

At Court Phillipe Chatrier, the World No. 2’s daughter, the 6-year-old youngster showcased a message for Nole from the player’s box. In a fan tweet on X, Tara’s sign for her dad read “Tata je najbolji” which translates to “Dad is the best”.

For the unversed, the Serb’s daughter recently started attending her father’s contests. She stole the limelight at the 2024 Wimbledon after marking her first-ever appearance at one of his matches. Moreover, the father-daughter duo have been constantly sharing on-court adorable moments this season. Notably, Djokovic was seen playing his racket like a violin to celebrate Wimbledon wins.

The musical gesture is for his six-year-old daughter, who is currently learning the violin. “That was for Tara,” Djokovic said in post-match interviews. “My daughter has been playing violin for some time already, six months, and we agreed that I would celebrate that way.”

The much-anticipated gold medal Olympic match will mark a replay of their previous grass-court encounters. Notably, the Serb lost his chance at leveling Roger Federer‘s all-time record of eight SW19 titles after Alcaraz outclassed him in the summit clash of the event’s 2023. Unfortunately, the Serb stumbled upon similar results this year. He was finessed by the Spanish talent at the All-England Club’s title decider. But Djokovic is far from backing down and letting Alcaraz thwart his long-lost dream.

Only time will tell whether Nole can furnish the French crowd with another jaw-dropping performance. What is scripted is that Alcaraz won’t let the Serb claim victory easily. He will be upping his challenge in Paris and with it, stand an equal chance at pocketing a gold for his nation!
