The Hungarian beast, Marton Fucsovics, is getting ready to walk out on the clay courts of Paris against the King of the clay, Rafael Nadal. Things won’t be easy for the former, as Nadal has regained his form for what it’s worth at the Swedish Open. And he is not one to back down easily. However, as the terrific battles are about to begin, Fucsovics has a lot of support to count upon as his nation joins hands to stand by their player. But there is one more special one supporting him in his quest for an Olympic medal: his best friend!

For some, best friend can be a person, their pet, or their journal, as they share every day happenings. And for the Hungarian, it’s his furry friend Chucky! With a fierce competitive spirit and a beastly physique, Fucsovics has a special soft sport reserved for man’s best friend. Opening up about the depth of the relationship, he said “He’s like my son, like my best friend. He’s always with me, always there for me. He’s giving me a lot of motivation.”

That’s not all, as Chucky prefers to play with tennis balls too, just like his ‘dad’. Fucsovics said, “When I’m home, he’s with me 24/7. We go for a walk every day. I throw the balls at him. We spend time with my girlfriend and family together.” And in his absence, his family makes sure that the furry friend and son of Fucsovics doesn’t miss the tennis player a lot!

When Marton Fucsovics’ tennis friend copied his move in good humour

The famous incident at the Australian Open of Fucsovics tearing off his shirt grabbed everybody’s eyes. And why not? That beastly physique which required the work day in and out was the proof of his work over time. However, Daniil Medvedev was not to be left behind when his friend was being appreciated. Hence, after his second-round win at Melbourne, he did a Fucsovics on the court.

After winning, Medvedev pulled his shorts up a bit, to show off his thigh muscles. However, they certainly felt a bit short of Fucsovics’ powerful show. And the Russian remarked, as he said, “I think I’m just a 𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒍𝒆 𝒃𝒊𝒕 less muscles than him.” And Fucsovics retweeted it, just having fun with his friend!
