Alcaraz revealed, “Leg has the issue, but I will be there tomorrow for doubles. It is not a problem. It’s the life of tennis players to have small niggles. Will give my all to be there tomorrow, with Rafa. I was very happy to get through in two sets. I played much better in the first set than I did in the second.”

Alcaraz and Nadal will be up against Tallon Griekspoor and Wesley Koolhof in the second-round encounter later today. It is Nadal’s final shot at attaining glory before he calls time on his illustrious career. As a result, the Spanish duo will come out all guns blazing against the Dutch pair.
