Clijsters not only congratulated Raducanu, but she also gave her some advice. She feels that after winning a grand slam, people around you change. People expect more from you all of a sudden. The Belgian advises Emma to “not to get sucked into the fakeness of that kind of world.” When you win a major event, your entire world changes. The money, interviews, and notoriety are all attractive. However, Clijsters urged Emma not to get sidetracked as it might drain her energy.

Clijsters encourages Raducanu to concentrate only on her game because she will require more energy in the future. She hopes Emma’s management team is supportive and provides a positive work atmosphere for her.
