Tom Brady has had an illustrious NFL career. The former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback is one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time., if not the greatest. Moreover, he led the Patriots to six Super Bowl titles which is an NFL record. After joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020, he led them to win the Super Bowl LV.

However, Brady shocked the world when he announced his retirement earlier this month. The American star cited that he wasn’t sure that he could continue to give a 100 percent competitive commitment. With the Bucs possibly looking to rebuild after the most recent season, Brady would likely have a lot of work to do, in order to bring another chip to Tampa Bay.

Additionally, various stars from across the sporting fraternity were full of praise for him. Recently, 20-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic has penned a message for Brady.

The Serb posted a story on his official Instagram account, thanking the quarterback for being an inspiration. He said, “Absolute legend! Thank you for all the inspiration, Tom Brady.”

While announcing his retirement, Brady said, “This is difficult for me to write, but here it goes: I am not going to make that competitive commitment anymore. I have loved my NFL career, and now it is time to focus my time and energy on other things that require my attention.”

Further, Brady will focus on his business ventures like NFT platform Autograph, TB12 Sports, and his apparel brand ‘Brady Brand’. On the other hand, tennis icon Novak Djokovic would be aiming to come back stronger after the Australian Open fiasco. His first tournament of the season will be at Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships.
