Roger Federer is one of the few players busier than ever after he hung his racket. The Swiss legend’s game has only stopped in professional tournaments. A month after his retirement, he played an exhibition match at the Ariake Coliseum in Tokyo, an event organized by his major sponsor, ‘Uniqlo.’ Now, Federer is investing his time in spreading his knowledge, educating underprivileged kids, and of course, spending quality moments with his kids, with whom he never got time as much as he wanted to spend.

The Swiss Maestro is also full of surprises these days, from his appearance at a Coldplay concert to advising kids at a tennis academy. In the latter, a player at the academy asked the 41-year-old which player he struggled the most against, and he did not hesitate even for a second to answer.

Episode 4 of Uniqlo’s series, ’24 Hours With Roger Federer,’ featured the Swiss legend who swept the kids off their feet with his appearance. He visited the ‘Carry Leeds Center For Tennis & Learning’ in the Bronx, New York. The official Twitter account of Uniqlo shared the video of Federer playing with the training students and sharing tips from his experience.

A young girl asked the legend, “Who was the hardest to play?” to which the former World No. 1 replied, “I struggled against Rafa the most. Yeah, just because of his topspin and lefty, you know.” He further asked the aspiring player, “Do you like playing against lefties?” and she answered with a “No.” Federer explained that was the reason why Rafael Nadal was a challenging opponent and concluded, “There you go.”

Fedal faced each other 40 times in their career, from their first match in 2004 to the last in 2019. Nadal shares the most number of wins, 24, and Federer has 16 in his account. The Swiss legend also discussed the favorite part of his career and said, “I really enjoy passing on my wisdom and passing on good tips.” As he revealed what he always loved to do, it screamed classic Federer.
