Roger Federer is currently on a sabbatical from tennis, as he’s recovering from another knee surgery. The Maestro last competed at Wimbledon 2021, getting knocked out in the quarter-finals of the event. Since then, Federer has been making the most out of his time away from tennis. He was previously spotted at renowned fashion shows and is now exploring his musical side.

Just recently, Federer attended the concert of classical French violinist, Renaud Capucon in Zurich, Switzerland. The 20-time Grand Slam champion is a great admirer of music. He also tweeted his appreciation for Capucon and his team.

Roger Federer attends French violinist’s concert

On several occasions, the former World No.1, Roger Federer has confessed that he loves listening to music. For a commercial, Federer also sang the Beatles’ hit, ‘With A Little Help From My Friends’.

In keeping with his passion for music, Federer recently attended Renaud Capucon’s music concert. Capucon is a professional French violinist and teacher at Royal Northern College of Music in England.

After the show, both the stars even took a picture together. Capucon thanked Federer for showing up via his Twitter account. According to the violinist, “It was a treat” that Federer attended his show. The Swiss Maestro retweeted with a humble message. He wrote,” Pleasure was mine Renaud, you were incredible.”

In many interviews, Federer has expressed his passion for music. He loves listening to Queen band, Michael Jackson, and various pop musicians. This time Federer preferred listening to classical French violinist. Clearly, Roger has a diversified taste when it comes to music.

The 20-time Grand Slam champion underwent another knee surgery after Wimbledon 2021. At the Championships, he cruised into the quarter-finals of the competition. However, his journey was ended by Hubert Hurkacz of Poland as he registered a straight-set victory against the Maestro.

After Wimbledon, Federer decided to withdraw for the remainder of the season. Subsequently, the Swiss made a surprise visit at Laver Cup 2021. The former World No. 1 received an overwhelming welcome from the crowd in Boston.
