If anyone ever wondered how retirement life would look like for Roger Federer, the last few weeks are the perfect examples. The Swiss Maestro has spent his time making special appearances at F1, tennis tournaments, and now at music concerts. Well, only a special musical band could attract Roger Federer to music concerts, and ‘Coldplay’ was special enough indeed.

Coldplay’s Europe Tour has seen large crowds in the last two months. But nothing can top Roger Federer’s appearance at the Zurich concert. The former world number 1 huddled up with his wife Mirka to witness the rock band perform live.

The concert took place on 1st July, Saturday at the Stadion Letzigrund. Federer did not just visit the concert, he also shared the stage with the music artists. Being the most influential athlete in all of Switzerland, the Swiss Maestro received a round of applause for his entry. He posted a series of pictures and videos on his Instagram with the caption “Adventure of a Lifetime @coldplay

The series of pictures included the Coldplay squad, Federer’s on-stage appearance, glimpses of the arena, and a couple-post with Mirka. Federer also entered ‘A sky full of Stars’ as the location, thereby making a cheeky reference to one of Coldplay’s most popular songs.

In case you are wondering, this was not the first instance of Roger Federer sharing his love for music.

Earlier this year, the 20-time major champion uploaded a clip of skiing on his Instagram. More than the clip, it was the attached audio that raised eyebrows. He used Taylor Swift’s song ‘Anti-Hero’ in his clip, which started speculation among the fans whether Federer is a Taylor Swift fan.

It does not quite end here. Apparently, Roger Federer is a ‘Blackpink’ fan as well. A few days after the Taylor Swift revelation, Federer posted a picture with four Blackpink artists suggesting that they could be one of his favorite bands.
