The World Number One is hoping for a smooth transition from grass courts to clay courts as the Hopman Cup will be played on clay. In order to do so, Alcaraz preferred to hit the court days after winning Wimbledon. On what appeared to be a hot and sunny day in Nice, the Spaniard went shirtless, showing off his ripped physique. Fans went crazy as his shirtless training video soon went viral on social media.

Subsequently, Alcaraz was in action yesterday as Spain faced Belgium in the Group 2 tie. Despite showing signs of rustiness, the Spaniard prevailed in his match against David Goffin to level the tie. Earlier, Spain’s Rebeka Masarova lost out to Elise Mertens in a closely fought encounter.
