Year After His Ugly Face-off With Ben Stiller, Aussie Tennis Star Nick Kyrgios Makes Near Impossible Wimbledon Wish Featuring the Hollywood Star

After his injury?and subsequent knee surgery, Nick Kyrgios hurt his foot in a car robbery incident. He stayed out of tennis for months. And now the Canberra-born star was aiming to repeat the magic of the previous year again. But his torn ligament of his wrist dashed the hopes of his fans as he decided to pull out of the tournament. He was practicing in the All England Club for Wimbledon with full vigor. But he had to pull- out, he ensured to send waves of amusement across the internet.

Tennis is not the only thing that interests him. During his bromance with tennis, Kyrgios ensures romance with controversies as well. In 2022, he made comedian Ben Stiller laugh in the tennis stands. And now in Wimbledon, Kyrgios had come up with a message for the Hollywood actor again.

Nick Kyrgios’ word for Ben Stiller

Nick Kyrgios shared a clip in his Instagram story where he was being asked about Ben Stiller. The Australian star can be seen strolling on the grass court in the clip. The Australian star sent an invitation to the Hollywood star in these words before Wimbledon withdrawal, ?If Ben Stiller wants to come down, be in my box, then be my guest.? He captioned the clip with these words, “Ben Stiller, Here’s your invite.” He followed the caption with laughing emoji.

The Stiller-Kyrgios bromance has an interesting anecdote. In March 2022, Kyrgios was losing the game to Rafael Nadal in the Indian Wells, California. A heckler kept shouting at Kyrgios in the meantime. When he got on the nerves of Kyrgios, the Australian star shot back, ?Are you good at tennis?? The heckler replied, ?No?. Kyrgios continued, ?Exactly. So why are you speaking??. Then Kyrgios said pointing to Ben Stiller in the audience, ?Do I tell him how to act?.? The crowd, including Ben Stiller, burst into laughter. But the Kyrgios-Stiller chemistry didn?t end there. It started there.

In the same match, Nick Kyrgios had almost saved himself from another controversy. He had flung the racket that had almost hit the ball boy. When he shared the text that everything was nice with the ball boy, Stiller started the conversation. He wrote, ?Great match today.? And Kyrgios responded, ?Thanks, maybe we can start working on the next film together. I think I got some acting in me.?How is your tennis?? Later Stiller suggested that they should, maybe, pair in doubles.

In June 2023 too, the pair exchanged tweets where the duo talked about being coached by each other. And with Kyrgios inviting him to Wimbledon, that might have been a possibility had he not suffered the ligament tearing.
