Elias Ymer, ranked 205th, reached Wimbledon’s first round after defeating Lukas Neumayer, Marco Trungelliti, and Sho Shimabukuro in the qualifiers. In his match against Shimabukuro, Ymer won 102 points to Shimabukuro’s 80, hitting 39 winners and 9 aces. He served exceptionally well, winning 75% of his first serves and 70% of his second serves without conceding a break.
