However, he didn’t specify the role he is willing to play. Federer’s former ATP colleague Tim Henman is eager to see the Swiss maestro back at Wimbledon. Here’s what he said.

“Will he come to Wimbledon this year? I hope so. In what capacity? I don’t know. He’s been an amazing champion in our sport, the most incredible ambassador in our sport and he’s a good friend of mine so I definitely hope I get to see him a bit more.”

Notably, the 41-year-old is in chats with BBC for a commentator role. It will be interesting to see if Federer returns to tennis as a commentator.
