Carlos Alcaraz is heating up his off-court appearances too! The Spaniard who is gearing up to swing his racquet against Alexander Zverev today and claim his third Grand Slam is also achieving milestones off the court. However, this is a triumph of a different kind. The World No. 3, who joined hands with Louis Vuitton last year, recently launched a new $162,000(150,000 Euros) merchandise! Naturally, the tennis world is in a frenzy after seeing the 21-year-old embrace a new LV look.

Carlos Alcaraz started this season with a bang, even before his tournament in Australia began. The Spanish tennis sensation who signed up with the brand in 2023 has always been vocal about his love for the brand. “I have admired the brand for a long time. So for me the partnership is a dream come true,” Alcaraz once said. However, taking it even further this year, he brought forth a personalized trunk with a variety of tennis equipment. The project, which initially began last year with another athlete, Dan Carter (Rugby legend,) now has Carlos Alcaraz as its new name in its second chapter.

The Malle Vestiaire Project aims to market various sports equipment until the Olympics of this year begin in Paris. A fresh face in this regard, Carlos Alcaraz participated in this project by showcasing his usual charm to the fans. With the combination of Nike shirts and his Wimbledon shoes(wearing which he won the Wimbledon in 2023), the 13x ATP titlist kept his racquet close while doing a photoshoot for the brand. The U.S. Open Champion’s appearance in a full black attire, on a tennis court close to the waters gave fans a glimpse of an unknown side of the 21-year-old.

“I put personal items inside it that represent my life and career, and the custom hand-painted symbols on the outside also represent me as a person. They add a nice, personalized touch. For me, it is a bit of a time capsule from my first trophy at 10 years old, to my shirt and shoes from my Wimbledon win,” the current-World No. 3 described.

A series of pictures further revealed Alcaraz posing beside a closet and also sometimes sitting on a trunk. Speaking about his enthusiasm on the matter, he said, “I’m excited to have collaborated on my own Malle Vestiaire with Louis Vuitton. It is a project we began last year and have put a lot of time and effort into with the team.”  However, this isn’t Alcaraz’s first Louis Vuitton rodeo. He graced the brand’s campaign last year too.

Carlos Alcaraz reveals how he is “still developing” his sense of style during his last year’s Louis Vuitton photoshoot

Last year, apart from winning six titles on-court, Carlos Alcaraz also won the hearts of his fans when he endorsed Louis Vuitton’s spring/summer formalwear collection of 2024. Wearing luxurious black and white suits, Alcaraz’s photoshoot in the halls of a palace garnered a lot of attention in the tennis world.

However, when it comes to his off-court dresses, he revealed, “I try not to think about it too much. I am still developing my sense of style. That is, of course, made easier by my family at Louis Vuitton, who are always on hand to help when I need.” Carlos Alcaraz recently admitted how Louis Vuitton is “more than just a fashion brand” but a celebration of culture over 100 years.

Currently his focus is on-court. Although he has had a mixed season this year due to his arm injury, Alcaraz is finally back with his ‘A’ game on-court in France. Whether he clinches his second title this season, only time will tell. But either way, he will continue to amaze fans in different ways!
