Carlos Alcaraz has had newfound popularity ever since he won the 2023 Wimbledon title against Novak Djokovic. The Spaniard was on a momentous roll until it was quashed by Tommy Paul in the Canadian Open. Frustrated at how the match was proceeding, Alcaraz threw his racket at his bench. The move did not settle well with a fan of the Djoker, who pointed out that Alcaraz did not receive a code violation. To come to his defense, Nick Kyrgios?lashed out at the fan for dragging the Spaniard’s name.

The Nole fan in question is referring to the possibility that Djokovic would’ve been called outright on it. In fact, the temperamental Serb has been called out by tournament umpires many times about antics that violate the game’s rules of conduct. While Alcaraz also engaged in such an act, he seemingly got away with it.
