The 36-year-old Serbian tennis player has faced very few defeats in comparison to his victories this year. But do you know that there is only one person who has defeated the 24-time Grand Slam champion on the hard court? Apparently, Djokovics’s win-loss ratio is 28-1, which means he has achieved 28 victories but at the same time only faced a single loss.

As the world number one is currently competing at the Paris Masters, another tournament on a hard surface, his single defeat has astonished a lot of fans in the tennis arena. Subsequently, this defeat came earlier this year, in March, when he played in the Dubai Duty-Free Tennis Championships. Daniil Medvedev is the only tennis player to beat him this year on hard court.

This victory came in the semi-final round of the tournament, after which Medvedev won the tournament by defeating Andrey Rublev in the finals. While the rivalry between both tennis players is quite iconic, they have never missed an opportunity to give their 100% when pitted against each other. Although both of them have faced each other 15 times till now in their tennis careers, Djokovic has always carried the upper hand in their rivalry.
