Britain’s Jacob Fearnley is “super excited” to play against his idol, Novak Djokovic, in the second round of the Wimbledon Championships. However, he recently admitted that he has “no idea” how to beat such a flawless player as the seven-time Wimbledon champion. Fearnley wants to enjoy the moment and give his best on the court. What he needs most right now is support from the home crowd, his family, and friends. Let’s look at some of the strongest pillars of his support.
After spending nearly five years at Texas Christian University (TCU), where he played college tennis, Jacob Fearnley recently graduated with team success in the NCAA National Championships. Alongside receiving a wildcard entry into the main draw of Wimbledon, he also won his maiden title on the ATP Challenger Tour in Nottingham. His girlfriend, Keagan Polk, an athlete from TCU, has witnessed his incredible rise firsthand.
Keagan Polk, daughter of Chris and Jennifer Polk, grew up in Dallas Fort Worth, and is a fan of the Cowboys and Mavericks. She graduated from Southlake Carroll High School and recently from TCU, where she studied Finance and Accounting at the Neeley School of Business. Involved in multiple sports within collegiate athletics, she also served as a captain for TCU’s beach volleyball team and was active in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
