Alejandro Cerundolo, Francisco’s father, has also made his mark in the ATP ranking of the tennis world by earning a place in the top 300. He professionally played tennis in the 1980s and represented his country, Argentina, in the world. Often referred to as “Toto” among his fans, his prowess on the court also helped him turn into a professional coach, later down the line.

And as a passionate coach, Francisco Cerundolo’s father helped train various players over the years. Among them, two notable players are Jose Acasusso and Mercedes Paz. Currently, he is busy with his own tennis academy in Buenos Aires.
